Description
Brian Pincott is now in his third term as Councillor for Ward 11. As a member of Calgary City Council, he has dedicated himself to fostering a culture of sustainability in Calgary, which is a goal he has been passionate about since moving to the city in 1996.

Over the past two council terms, Brian has been one of the prominent voices in changing the way we grow our city. Throughout his third term he will continue to fight for alternatives to urban sprawl and also looks forward to addressing the lack of affordable housing in Calgary. As the Chair of the Calgary Housing Corporation Board, and a member of Attainable Homes Calgary, The Federation of Canadian Municipalities, and the Family and Community Support Services Association of Alberta, Brian works collaboratively with the key stakeholders in these very important discussions.

It is Brian’s belief that the best way to build a city is by including citizens in the building process. As a result, he continues to work to make City Hall more accessible to the public, and show Calgarians how their ideas can be the driving force behind City decision making.

Brian has demonstrated his capability as an intuitive and engaged Councillor, willing to take a stand on challenging issues. Moreover, he has set the standard for Council leadership with his integrity and tireless work ethic. Now in his third term, Brian is looking to continue building on his experiences, and ensure the interests of his ward are represented.
