Andre Chabot

Andre Chabot was elected to his first term on Council for Ward 10 during the by-election on Feb. 28, 2005.

Andre brings to office a long history of community service.

He believes in and promotes strategic growth and infrastructure improvements that compliment and support sustainable development for business and residents alike.

Andre presently participates on the following committees of Council:
•Standing Policy Committee on Planning & Urban Development, Chair
•Standing Policy Committee on Transportation and Transit
•Gas, Power and Telecommunications Committee, Chair
•Priorities and Finance Committee
•Legislative Governance Task Force
•Intergovernmental Affairs Committee
•Inter-Municipal Committee (IMC) Chestermere
•Stampede Board

Andre is also a Calgary representative on the Alberta Urban Municipalities Association (AUMA) and sits on the following AUMA committees:
•Beverage Container Management Board (BCMB) and the Return Rate Committee of BCMB
•Transmission Facilities Cost Monitoring Committee (TFCMC)
•Standing Policy Committee on Sustainability and the Environment
•Alberta Data Partnership Limited
